Rootz Construction took on this turnkey project to build a Souvlaki Restaurant at 6944 Ellerslie Road. The biggest challenge was the HVAC system, as the restaurant is located in a two-story building with combustible walls. Rootz had to install approximately 40 meters of black iron ducting and overcome the challenge of exhaust termination and fresh air intakes. Despite these unforeseen challenges, Rootz successfully completed the project, working closely with the city to resolve various issues related to fire rating and compliance.
